The last few weeks have been filled with playing around in the audio arena, making ads for websites and podcasts that I am a fan of and wish to promote to have the show feel a little more natural for breaks and with the soon to be done Live broadcasting of the show while it is being recorded. I have about 3 ads done so far but I will post one here for the awesome blog, The Grass Is Leena. and at the same time, check this ad out that will be playing during the podcast this week. There are a few more but I will unveil them during the show on the unsuspecting peoples here with me.

I am also in the process of remaking the site with the help of a few friends so if links and items are not working, please be patient and just comment on it or e-mail me at thescarecrow@overindulgence.net and I’ll try my best to fix it.

Yes, we have a piece of content! A big thank you to everyone for understanding the lack of anything we have done over the last month. We have recorded a podcast about two weeks ago but due to a podcasting issue for the site, it is refusing to load up and execute to the RSS or Itunes. Above is the teaser trailer to the ‘Day in the life of Korthal’ video we will be releasing ‘soon’. We are also recording tomorrow afternoon for a immediate release. It has been a long time since we have done one but it has not been wasted time with a lot of scriptwriting and videoing going on along with the building of a new part to the site called ‘The Mana Bar Chronicals’

We apologize for not releasing anything for so long but as we always say, we are in no way professional. We look forward to getting back into the swing of things.

The week off recording has been ……. nice is not the word. Due to alot of work on my side of things is the main reason we had to take a week away. 14 days solid with one day off didn’t allow the time to be able to record so I apologize if the lack of cock caused any trauma.

Over this weekend ahead, Korthal and I will be recording and editing a special piece called ‘A day in the life of Korthal’ that will be added to the behind the scenes page (along with all the cut lines and cock ups) We are also gearing up to do some video work to post here but we will talk about it more either on the podcast or when we have some stuff finalized.

Although, before I was reduced to a sniveling pile of flesh in bed, hopped up on tablets. I managed to pull a few of the offcuts from previous sketches and podcasts and have edited them and placed them in the brand new blue button above called “Behind the Scenes” so feel free to check it out. After every episode, We will be posting any cock ups and comments made during the mic checks and warm up.

As for the Weddingcast, Seeing as I am still sick, the record has been canceled until Friday afternoon after the wedding. One issue being is that there is a drinks tab at the lunch and Hawky and Korthal so be warned that the podcast may be a little more loose than usual.

P.S. What he means by “loose” is that i will have a hard time finding the floor i’m going to attempt to be so blind drunk.. It’s not often that two of your closest friends get married, on the same day, to eachother. Not to mention one of my other close friends Coz will be joining us all the way down from the great city of Melbournia, so i’ll have even more of a reason to celebrate! Stay tuned for possibly our most random and unorganised podcast to date, it will be a first for all of us because i sure as fuck wont remember doing it. -Hawky

UPDATED

After my flu run in (thank you to everyone who wished me better health) I am on the bounce back and am feeling a whole lot better. I caught up with the boys tonight and we are recording the weddingcast this Thursday night (2 nights time at time of typing) and we are going to answer all the questions that people threw our way for the feedback-cast and any new ones that you can think up before we record (leave them here as a comment or mail them to Podcast@overindulgence.net ) along with a wrap up of how the wedding went and the party that reduced me to a flu ridden sack of crap. We also have some pictures that we may be able to share, it all depends on what I and the newly minted Mrs Scarecrow wish to put up here. We are all chomping at the bit to sit down and record another episode.

Scarecrow – “No problem at all, I’m doing enough food for 5 people and we have a extra mic if he wants in”
