Over Indulgence Podcast 7 (The Korthal Catch-Up) – Edit

Edit – Scarecrow here. I didn’t get enough time to review and check the entire podcast before posting it online. A great deal of the show was drowned out by ambient noise and after listening to it entirely, I didn’t feel we could inflict this upon you, the fans. We will still be recording tonight with Matt from Australian Gamer and posting that episode early Saturday morning to allow for editing.

Sorry for the let down but we know you love the show and we would hate to release anything far worse than our expectations of shoddy.

Also, as a note, Hawky and Korthal now have dedicated e-mail addresses here on the site. Hawky@overindulgence.net and Korthal@overindulgence.net are usable and the boys are awaiting any and all of your mail.

Cheers and I am sorry for not being able to release this episode.

A Two Podcast Week

Yes, even though we have received no ideas for what Korthal must do to get us to record another episode this week, We are going ahead and will be recording a hour long (approx) episode tomorrow night (Thursday night) with our standard record for Friday going ahead as planned. At this moment, we have invited Matt from Australian Gamer to appear either this week or next but due to commitments, we cannot say at this point when he will guest host.

Also, we have had a few e-mails with ideas for the sex olympics and what events it should have. I have them written down and will be reading them out on the catch up podcast with a few others we have come up with.

The interest behind the U-streamed 10th episode of OI is really interesting. At the moment, we have a few options as to how we should present the show for everyone live.

We could have a webcam set up to broadcast video of us just banging on (to be honest, this is a pretty boring option as we just sit around, talk and laugh)

The current idea is to have the audio streaming live for everyone to listen to and a chat channel or Mirc channel open for you to talk to us as we record. We will also be taking questions on anything and answering them live. If you have any suggestions, again, comment here or email us.

As a note, I was e-mailed by Itunes to let us know how many people have subscribed to the podcast feed. Amazingly enough, 1200 people have subscribed so thanks to every single one of you.

Over Indulgence in 2010

Hey everyone. Happy new year with all the possible blessing you can handle.

At the moment, The OI podcast will start again and continue through 2010 starting late January. With work starting for myself, along with both Korthal and Hawky having to work over the christmas break. Things are tight for time. We will be taking a break while we get our new years sorted and will be hopefully bringing a steaming hot new podcast direct to your ears in the 3rd or 4th week of January.

New Year’s Eve Podcast

Thanks to everyone who has commented on the page and sent me the wonderful e-mails. The original message here was for the New Year’s Eve Podcast that was going to feature a very special surprise but at the last moment, guests, locations and time all ran out so unfortunately, there will be no podcast until the 8th of January. I apologize for not being able to deliver this to you all but I do promise that I will be attempting to make this up to everyone that listens with our next episode.

Updates for the Podcast

Finally, with the christmas holidays now set in for at least two weeks, We have managed to get not only the ‘Mario on Acid’ Ringtone on the site but also, thanks to Korthal, we have the Hawky rap from the end of podcast 4 edited together as a ringtone as well. Click above on the podcasts page for the links. Over the next few days, I am going through each podcast and collecting everything we mentioned as being in the link dump and providing them. Just check the Podcasts page for the links under the podcast it was refered to.
There have been some reported issues with the itunes feed as well for episode 5. I have fixed everything to what I know but if there are still issues, please e-mail me at thescarecrow@overindulgence.net or leave a comment in the podcast post and I will attempt to have it all righted.

Thanks very much to everyone who has been listening. We still have one more episode to record for the year on the 31st but to all, Merry Christmas and we hope to have made you laugh as much as we did.
